Performance, Sleep, and “Biohacking”

What I’ve learned so far:

  1.  Focus is the greatest force multiplier
    1. Financial debt kills focus and is a symptom of emotional, structural, operational, and disciplinal debt
  2. Quality Sleep is the silver bullet
  3. HRV is allegedly the greatest indicator of performance

High performance has been a constant character in my life.

After growing up in Silicon Valley where we started writing business plans at the age of 14 –

anything and everything to get the edge over the progeny of the smartest engineers in the world was sought.

Most sought power through knowledge –

I, being the stubborn contrarian that I am, sought a different path:

performance.

My logic was simple:

A full fridge does not make the best chef.

The best chef can place divinity on a plate through the most simple ingredients.

Once I had completed my quest to party my face off in college, it became my mission in life to find 2 things: the best ingredients and to become the best chef.

The main course?

superHuman performance and output.

As I write this I am nowhere near the radical outcomes that I seek,

but I have tasted some appetizers of success.

An 8 figure mobile app company at the age of 21,

running a 3d printing company at 22,

operating at a partner level at a venture capital firm at 23,

and building highly profitable agencies that raked in multiple 6 figures a year.

Not bad for a nerd turned bro turned nerdbro but not the greatness I aspire to.

This is to chronicle my journey, and the secrets that I find

in the corners of our world

and the depths of the internet.

What I’ve learned so far:

  1. Chef: Focus is the greatest force multiplier
    1. Chef: Financial debt kills focus and is a symptom of emotional, structural, operational, and disciplinal debt
